Learning the dream....

Today i started on my journey to living learning the dream.

I had my first informal lecture about the ins and outs of uni life,what i need to do next,what i need to do now......it was a very nice welcome.

My tutorial group consists of apprx 20 girls-all school leavers.This i will admit bummed me a bit.
It would have been nice to have had  another mature aged student but i guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles.One of the coordinators was explaining that as a teacher you will always be learning and adapting and facing challenges that put you out of your comfort zone so i guess ill be learning that from day one.

I don't underestimate the competencies of these girls obviously,they have just come straight from TEE,they will teach me a great deal from their perspectives-i guess it just would have been lovely to have a mum in there too :)

I'm still super excited and am actually looking forward to the work load and learning (I'm sure in a few months ill be thinking differently)

I think this uni life might actually suit me a bit  ;)
