Have you ever

Have you ever just wanted to get away?

Have you wanted to just get in the car and drive even though the timing isn't right,

Have you got a 'To Do' list a mile long?

Well tonight we answered those questions with an astounding yes

So we ran drove away

The weather has been atrocious here lately,I'm sick of sitting in because its too hot to do anything outside,so this afternoon we decided we would head to the beach.

For many this isn't out of the ordinary but for us its a day trip. We live a long way from the beach.

We took our reading homework and sat in the sun beside the water and read
.

We swam off our energy and watched the kite surfers dance their magic

In the distance we watch the storm race towards us-lighting show and all,then suddenly it poured,wet to your bones poured.

We didn't run. We laughed and danced and spun  dizzy wizzy's.

I haven't seen anything as beautiful in a long while,well i haven't ever been on the beach when its rained.

It was invigorating

It was refreshing

We created a memory that will long be a favourite

All on a spur of the moment after school adventure :)
